Commercial Mortgage Originator / Business Development Manager
Key Responsibilities
Originate commercial real estate mortgages. You will also explore opportunities to originate renewable energy financing opportunities.
· Build and maintain relationships with prospective business owners/targets, investment bankers/business brokers, and financial advisors and CPA’s.
· Provide insights and expertise to drive efficiencies and desired growth for the origination platform.
· Lead and coordinate with underwriting staff through the screening, underwriting, approval, and closing processes for each financing opportunity.
· Support the expansion of general marketing efforts, including all products and capabilities.
· Attend and facilitate sessions at business owner forums, and industry conferences/tradeshows.
Basic Qualifications:
Skilled Hunter and Excellent Closer with a Proven sales record and the ability and experience presenting and closing C-Suite Executives
- Self Starter - Someone who does not need to be micromanaged. Creative, entrepreneurial, and results oriented.
- Strong Negotiation Ability, not afraid to ask for the business
- A highly persuasive, self-disciplined & honest work ethic with strong communication skills
- Motivated by a results-based environment

Administrative Assistant
The Administrative Assistant will report to the Operations Manager and CEO. Duties will include performing a diverse range of tasks that include processing commercial real estate and renewable energy financing transactions thru closing. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for dealing professionally with confidential and sensitive information while performing several aspects of assigned work. The Administrative Assistant will review finance requests and initiate receipt of, and organize, significant quantities of documentation for multiple transactions simultaneously. They will communicate and coordinate with underwriting, legal, and Closing Departments
Tasks will include reviewing, or preparing, an analysis of financial background data to determine qualifications and eligibility for finance programs and determine if they meet underwriting guidelines and criteria. They will need to be able to analyze personal, corporate, and property financial statements. This critical position is responsible for performing a wide variety of duties which will ensure the proper functioning of the business unit and enhance the productivity and effectiveness of the company.
Skillsets required include:
The ability to create procedures and workflows to facilitate efficient operation of the business unit
Multi-tasking and superb organizational skills
Excellent verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills
Excellent interpersonal skills for productive interaction with multiple parties associated with each transaction
The Administrative Assistant will also produce marketing correspondence and communications.
Highly motivated with a strong desire to learn
The ability to work independently with the knowledge of when to ask for guidance is required.
